Rodolfo Walsh is an international photographer, videographer and fine art photographer currently residing in Guatemala but available for destination weddings and engagement portraits all over the world. He specializes in wedding photojournalism. A style of photography in which the goal is to capture natural spontaneous images to emphasize moments and emotion instead of the typical posed photograph. He has recently photographed destination weddings and engagement portraits in Antigua Guatemala, Aruba, Island of Roatan, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Barcelona, Rome, Venice and Santorini, Greece.
He graduated with honours from the Academy of Art College in San Francisco, California (1990) where he received a bachelor degree in Fine Arts with a mayor in photojournalism. He worked for three years as a wedding photographer in the San Francisco Bay Area and then moved to Guatemala where he has engaged in fine art, fashion, advertising, and wedding photography and videography for the last 20 years. He has photographed more than 1,000 weddings.
As a fine art photographer and video producer he has exhibited his work in galleries and museums of the U.S.A.(Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art-MOCA), Spain, Germany, England, Mexico, Central America, Panama (Central American Visual Arts Biennial) Brazil (Latin American Photography Forum in Sao Paulo), Argentina, Chile and Uruguay. He was selected among the best photographers in Latin America and published in the book “OPEN MAPS” Latin American Photography 1992-2002, Spain, 2003
